Film in South Africa is expensive. Import duties, distributor margins and a small market push prices up until shooting regularly becomes a luxury.

We started Truth Photographic Company to change that. We import film and chemistry directly, keep our overheads low, and price things as fairly as we can.

We started with Foma, a Czech factory that’s been making film since 1921. Good film at a good price.

Everything ships countrywide. If you shoot more because of us, we’ve done our job.
