Fomapan 100 in 120 size, for medium format cameras.

The negatives are three to five times bigger than 35mm, so the grain all but disappears and you get smooth, detailed tones. It’s a slow film, so it’s at its best in daylight.

One roll gives you 12 shots on a 6x6 camera, 8 on a 6x9, 10 on a 6x7 and 15 or 16 on a 6x4.5. The box says 8 because that’s the 6x9 number.

Two tips. Keep the film at ISO 100. And if you’re shooting anything slower than about half a second, on a tripod or at dusk, give it more time than your meter says. Foma’s table for that is on their film sheet.

Develop it in Fomadon P or any standard developer. Times are on the Massive Dev Chart.

Need more speed for dull days or handheld shooting? Try the Fomapan 400 in 120.

Box code: Fomapan 100 120.
