Fomapan 100 Classic in the standard 36 exposure roll. A slow, fine-grained black and white film for bright days, portraits, landscapes and anything where you want smooth tones and detail.
It uses classic cubic grain rather than the tabular grain of modern films like Delta 100 or T-Max 100, which gives it a gentler, vintage feel.
Two things worth knowing before your first roll.
Your camera’s ISO dial doesn’t have to match the box. Plenty of people set it to 64 or 80 instead of 100, which gives the film a little more light and keeps detail in the shadows. If your first roll comes back looking thin or muddy in the dark areas, try that.
Long exposures need extra time. Once your shutter speed is slower than about half a second, you have to give the film more than the meter says. Keep Foma’s exposure table handy.
This is the roll to buy if Fomapan 100 is your everyday film. Also available in 120 and [4x5 sheets](/shop/film/fomapan-100-4x5-inch10-2x
